What is the maximum aquarium thickness for each of your VorTech pumps, and will they work on my tank?

The maximum tank thickness for each VorTech pump is as follows:
MP10 Maximum Tank Thickness: 3/8′′ (9.5mm)
MP40 Thickness Range: 3/16′′-3/4′′ (4.76mm – 19mm)
MP60 Thickness Range: 3/8′′ – 1′′ (9.5mm – 26mm)
The best thing to do is to contact your aquarium manufacturer. Another possibility is to closely measure the glass or acrylic with calipers or a ruler. It is very important to take a measurement on the pane of glass/acrylic which the VorTech will be used on, as many aquarium manufacturers use different thickness of glass for different sides of the aquarium.

Can I use MP10 in 10mm glass? doyou think that 0.5mm more may cause any problem for the pump?

Panayiotis,
The maximum recommended thickness' are posted above.
We cannot advise using MP10 series pumps on glass/acrylic that is thicker than our recommendation.
If you purchase, & try to use an MP10ES or wES on a tank with a thickness greater than 9.5mm, it COULD work. However, if the unit does not function properly, or at all, the root cause will be setting up the pump on a tank that is too thick.

Can I clarify. Your saying it might not work on a ten mm thick tank and the pump would have problems or the glass would have problems?

It's possible that it might work, but we cannot guarantee it past 3/8" glass.
