vortech firmware update. (Is there an easier way?)

Hi there,
I have 2 MP40WES pumps (with firmware 1.5) and was wondering whether there is a way to update the firmware on my vortechs. (the store where i purchased them is about 2000km away (1300 miles). Dont know of any local dealers who would have vortechs, let alone with latest firmware.
can i update them myself with a firmware download through my pc, or via the config utility through my radions?
Also, is this something that may be looked at as the software develops.

An update option through the Radions would be great :) Some of os live far away from getting it updated by shops :(

Mikey,

You'll need to update directly from another controller that has the latest firmware. If you don't know anyone locally who can help, you can send your controller to our service department and we'll be happy to upgrade it for you.

I voted for upgrading the MP10/40/60W firmware by using of the Radion's “EcoSmart Config Utility”.

I have 2x 1.5yrs MP10Wes with 1 Radion running in my reef tank. I feel that the process of upgarding the firmware will be easlier and time shorten by do it ourselves rather than take out the MP10 controller and bring it to the vendor/dealer to upgrade it.

Hope Ecotech hear my voice and seriously looking into it.
