My MP40 is not staying together via magnet

My MP40 is no longer staying together when operating, but the magnetic hold works fine when the MP40 is turned off.

What needs to be replaced?

Have you disassembled and cleaned your MP40 wetside? It sounds like it might be bound up, causing the pump to stall and fall off of the aquarium. Also, have you matched the dryside pin spacer with the thickness of your aquarium? Here is a video displaying how to properly disassemble and reassemble the MP40 wetside to reference when cleaning the pump.
