mp10 broke in 1 day
Brand new mp10w. I am getting the red/green error code and my wet side rotor seems to be frozen. It was a nice pump for the 3 hours it worked. Help.

Mike/Tim,
Thanks for contacting us regarding the issues you are experiencing with your VorTech pumps. My first suggestion would be to power down the pump, disconnect the wetside and power the controller with the dryside isolated. If the pump runs without error, then the wetside may be seized or installed improperly. If the pump continues to display the red/green error with the dryside isolated, it's possible that there is an internal issue with the dryside motor.
If this is the case, please contact our Customer Service department during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm EST) and we will troubleshoot further and (if necessary) issue an immediate replacement. -

Hi John. My pump powers up fine when the wet side is removed. I'm unable to move/rotate the rotor. Let me know what my next steps should be. Thanks.

Mike,
I would recommend disassembling the wetside to check for anything that could have caused the wetside to seize; the video below demonstrates how to do so. If you continue to have problems after completing this process, please contact us directly during normal business hours and we'll be happy to assist you further.
